Music Widgets does not collect, transmit or store any personal data.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no account system, analytics, advertising, tracking or crash reporting, and no third-party SDK that collects data. It does not send personal data or usage information to Jools Scott or to a developer-operated server.
What stays on your device
Your settings—including tempo, time signature, key, capo position, tuning, keyboard octave and practice total—are stored on your device. They are held in a container shared by the app and its widgets so both show the same values. This information does not leave your device. Deleting the app deletes it.
Purchases
The Full unlock is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Your entitlement is checked using Apple’s StoreKit framework; we hold no purchase record on a developer-operated server. Apple’s handling of purchase information is covered by Apple’s own privacy policy.
Support messages
If you choose to contact support through this website, you may provide your name, email address and the contents of your message. This information is used only to understand the problem and reply to you. It is not sold or used for advertising.
Children
The app is rated 4+ and is suitable for children. Because the app collects no personal data, it collects no personal data from children.
Third-party code
The on-screen keyboard uses AudioKit’s Keyboard and Tonic libraries. They render the keyboard and track touches; they do not collect data or make network requests. Piano samples by Liam Lee are bundled with the app and used under the MIT licence.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here with a new date.
