Commission

Music Of The Spheres
Commissioning a new piece is an exciting and inspirational experience, from the conceptual stage through to the first performance. Starting with a sharing of ideas and a brainstorming session, the entire process is not complicated, nor should it be needlessly expensive.

For choral music, Jools is particularly sympathetic to text, so you may want to choose something that is particularly special/suitable for your occasion and have it interpreted into music, or alternatively let Jools choose the words for you, or have them bespokely written by long term collaborator and librettist Sue Curtis.

Your new piece of music will be specifically tailored for the size / style / level of your choir or ensemble and can either be shared with you during the writing process (in sketch form) or presented in full on the agreed delivery date. Either way, the experience is exciting and individual on every commission.

If you are interested in talking over commission ideas, contact Jools
